Today, September 23, we look at the end of Mark chapter 4. Today's passage is a transition passage. Jesus, and his followers, are moving across the sea. They are moving from the Jewish side of the Sea of Galilee to the more Gentile side. A move that probably invoked some uncertainty, and some fear among his followers.
As you hear these words today, may you open your ears to hear anew that which God might be telling you. Maybe you too are going across to the other side, you have some uncertainty, have some fear, maybe even chaos, may God inspire you by these words.

Elizabeth does not take no for an answer. She's determined, driven, and does not give up. If you need someone in your corner, I'd suggest Elizabeth. She goes to bat for the things and people she believes in, and she's notorious for getting things done. She's loud but listens well. She's sarcastic but supportive, confident but willing to learn. Elizabeth is a pastor, preacher, teacher and in her spare time a wife and mother to three kids. She loves to share a good meal, but be forewarned, she'll definitely be late.
He brings his own french press coffee with him wherever he goes, but happily shares it with anyone who needs a pick me up. His dreads have a power all their own. He'll call you on your BS, but in a way that makes you grateful for his wisdom. He's the guy you want to hang out with over any kind of beverage. His favorite non-holiday is Pentecost, and the Holy Spirit is his jam. He's a pastor, a wise-man, a husband, a father of two girls, a caffeine addict, a native Missourian, and an advocate for justice. He hates wearing shoes.
