1 Kings 17:1-9
17 Now Elijah the Tishbite, of Tishbe in Gilead, said to Ahab, “As the Lord the God of Israel lives, before whom I stand, there shall be neither dew nor rain these years, except by my word.” 2 The word of the Lord came to him, saying, 3 “Go from here and turn eastward, and hide yourself by the Wadi Cherith, which is east of the Jordan. 4 You shall drink from the wadi, and I have commanded the ravens to feed you there.” 5 So he went and did according to the word of the Lord; he went and lived by the Wadi Cherith, which is east of the Jordan. 6 The ravens brought him bread and meat in the morning, and bread and meat in the evening; and he drank from the wadi. 7 But after a while the wadi dried up, because there was no rain in the land.
8 Then the word of the Lord came to him, saying, 9 “Go now to Zarephath, which belongs to Sidon, and live there; for I have commanded a widow there to feed you.”

Elizabeth does not take no for an answer. She's determined, driven, and does not give up. If you need someone in your corner, I'd suggest Elizabeth. She goes to bat for the things and people she believes in, and she's notorious for getting things done. She's loud but listens well. She's sarcastic but supportive, confident but willing to learn. Elizabeth is a pastor, preacher, teacher and in her spare time a wife and mother to three kids. She loves to share a good meal, but be forewarned, she'll definitely be late.
He brings his own french press coffee with him wherever he goes, but happily shares it with anyone who needs a pick me up. His dreads have a power all their own. He'll call you on your BS, but in a way that makes you grateful for his wisdom. He's the guy you want to hang out with over any kind of beverage. His favorite non-holiday is Pentecost, and the Holy Spirit is his jam. He's a pastor, a wise-man, a husband, a father of two girls, a caffeine addict, a native Missourian, and an advocate for justice. He hates wearing shoes.
